Force of Nature

Force of Nature launched on December 13, 2016 and received active post-launch development through 2017, including a major multiplayer update on June 16, 2017 and numerous feature patches adding new items, systems, and localizations throughout that year. After 2017, the pace of updates slowed considerably. The developer's own communications reveal that from at least 2019 onward, their primary focus had shifted entirely to building Force of Nature 2: Ghost Keeper — a full sequel announced publicly on August 27, 2021. In October 2021, the developer released the game's soundtrack as a standalone DLC (October 15, 2021), noting in that post that they had been "busy developing the second part of the game all the time." The most recent update to the game was a minor bug fix and localization addition on October 14, 2021. The only DLC ever released for the base game is the soundtrack, which is now available. No further content has been announced for Force of Nature, and the developer's stated focus has been on the sequel. The game appears to have concluded its post-launch support cycle by late 2021.
