Evaluation

Gloom launched on April 13, 2017 and received a quality-of-life patch shortly after launch, followed by one meaningful content update — the Regicide update (version 1.1.0.0) on August 28, 2017 — which added a new boss, new weapons, items, and a new ending. That appears to be the extent of post-launch content development for the base game. The developer (Aleksi Sirviö) subsequently moved on to other projects. On February 13, 2019, they announced the release of a separate game, The Treehouse Man. Then on November 20, 2019, they revealed a sequel to Gloom called After Gloom. Neither of these announcements indicated any further content planned for the original Gloom. The sequel announcement effectively confirms the developer considers Gloom itself a finished product. The only DLC ever listed is the original soundtrack, which was released alongside the game on April 13, 2017. There are no unreleased DLC entries and no outstanding commitments for Gloom. The last developer communication specifically about Gloom dates to November 2019, and it was a farewell-style announcement pointing players toward a new project. All evidence points to Gloom being a complete, self-contained game.
Evidence
Developer announced a sequel, 'After Gloom', directing fans to wishlist the new game. No further content for Gloom was mentioned or implied.
