Loco Parentis launched on September 19, 2019 and received a series of patches and updates through early 2021, with the last developer communication being a bug fix post on March 10, 2021. The developer's most significant statement came on October 2, 2023, when Fair Games Studio announced the release of their new game "Noch" — explicitly describing it as their "latest project" and noting they had "dedicated over 3.5 years" to it. Crucially, the post states: "Whether we can continue making narrative cooperative games in the future or not, we don't even know ourselves. We've done everything within our power." This language signals that the studio's focus has fully shifted to Noch, and there is no suggestion of any further content planned for Loco Parentis. The game has no unreleased DLC listed, and the developer has made no announcements of future content for Loco Parentis at any point. The game launched as a complete experience and received post-launch patches addressing bugs and balance, but no major new content was added beyond the original chapters. The last substantive update to Loco Parentis itself was the March 2021 bug fix. The game is complete.
