Luna Sky launched on October 2, 2015 and received a flurry of patches in its first weeks — Patches #1 through #4 shipped between October 3 and November 7, 2015, addressing gameplay mechanics, UI improvements, and bug fixes. The October 14, 2015 announcement post referenced future plans including Patch #5 improvements to skill upgrades, time attack leaderboards, and Mac support. However, all developer communication stopped after the Patch #4 post on November 7, 2015. No further patches, announcements, or developer posts have appeared since that date. The game's only DLC — a soundtrack — was released on launch day and is the sole item in the DLC list. None of the features promised for Patch #5 or beyond (leaderboards, skill upgrade rework, Mac support) were ever confirmed as shipped. The developer has been silent for over a decade, with no roadmap updates, no follow-up posts, and no indication that any of those plans were ever acted upon. Given the complete absence of developer activity since November 7, 2015, and no outstanding announced content that can be confirmed as in-progress, the game is best understood as a finished, if quietly abandoned, product in its current state.

How the game progresses
The game starts with Luna being rather weak.
As the game progresses, she gets upgrades to her existing abilities - for instance - running and jumping powers on the first level. On the second level, she gains a double jump ability which can be used to gain speed, halting mid-air or overcoming obstacles.
Each skill you unlock can also be used to play previous levels and maybe access new areas within levels!

It is helpful to read the Hints on each level. They are accessed through the pause menu - press ESC on keyboard or the start button on your gamepad.
