Monument

Monument is an old-school FPS that originally launched on June 5, 2015 and received a complete ground-up rebuild in January 2020 (NEWS-1), followed by several patches and feature updates through 2020. The most recent major content update was posted on April 25, 2021 (NEWS-2), which added new enemy behaviors, a brand new map ("Toxic Cave"), and numerous gameplay improvements. That appears to be the last substantial content addition to the game. The only DLC — a soundtrack released February 12, 2020 — is fully released. A post from April 1, 2024 (NEWS-9) was a nostalgic look back at early development sketches, with no announcement of new content; the developer noted it had "been almost 9 years since release" and mentioned possibly uploading the original version for free someday, but made no commitment to new content for the current game. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no announced roadmap, and no stated plans for future updates. With a single major content release in the post-rebuild era (April 2021) and no communication about upcoming content, the game reads as a complete, finished product.
