Plunge launched on August 23, 2019 as Spooky Buns' first game. Following launch, the developer was actively engaged with the community — shipping several bug fix patches through September and October 2019, adding key rebinding in October 2019, and then delivering an auto-save feature on August 4, 2020. That August 2020 update is the last recorded developer communication of any kind. No further patches, announcements, or posts have followed. The only DLC is the game's soundtrack, which released alongside the game on launch day. No future content was ever announced, no roadmap was published, and no unreleased DLC exists on the store. The developer has not stated the game is definitively complete, but the post-launch activity consisted of quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes rather than content expansions — consistent with a small studio polishing and then wrapping up support for their debut title. With no content commitments outstanding and no developer communication since August 4, 2020, the game is best understood as a complete, finished product.
