Evaluation
STAR WARS Starfighter is a port of the original 2001 LucasArts game, released on Steam on July 8, 2009. It is a self-contained single-player game with no DLC, no post-launch content cycle, and no announcements of additional content at any point. The developer's post-launch activity has been limited to maintenance: a June 30, 2017 patch added cloud saving and Windows 10 compatibility, and a March 27, 2018 update corrected a French localization issue. Neither constitutes new game content. There has been no developer communication since March 27, 2018, and no content was ever announced beyond what shipped with the original release. The game launched as a complete, finished product.
Evidence
Store description describes a fixed set of 14 missions and three playable ships — a self-contained single-player experience with no mention of additional content, DLC, or ongoing updates.
French localization bug fix — maintenance update only, last known developer communication.
