Additionally, The Division Resurgence — a free-to-play mobile/PC MMO set in The Division universe — launched on mobile on March 31, 2026 and became available on Steam on August 5, 2026. While this is technically a separate product, its store page is being used to cross-promote The Division 1, and its news posts appear in the game's Steam feed. This indicates the franchise and its infrastructure remain actively managed by Ubisoft/Massive Entertainment. The original game is not receiving new story DLC or expansions, but it is operating as an ongoing live service through regularly scheduled global events, with a full calendar of timed rotations still ahead. Players can expect continued seasonal event content through at least the end of 2026.
