Wanderlust: Rebirth

Wanderlust: Rebirth launched on July 27, 2012 as a complete arcade-action RPG with a defined set of content: four character classes, story and survival modes, competitive modes, and a full roster of enemies and bosses. The store description presents the game as a finished product with no mention of planned additions, DLC, or future updates. The developer's post-launch activity was limited and concluded years ago. The most recent patch (versions 3.08 and 3.09, posted May 3, 2014) added a new matchmaking system and private lobby functionality — quality-of-life improvements rather than new content. By February 2015, the developer's attention had shifted entirely to a spiritual successor, Wanderlust Adventures, which was announced as a separate Steam title. Developer communications for Rebirth effectively ceased after May 2014, and no further updates, announcements, or content have been communicated since. There is no unreleased DLC, no roadmap, and no outstanding promises. The game has been commercially available without interruption, but all development activity stopped over a decade ago. Wanderlust: Rebirth launched as a complete product and received only maintenance-level patches before the developer moved on to their next project.
