WARMACHINE: Tactics launched on November 20, 2014 and received a steady stream of updates over the following three years. Two major content releases stand out: the Retribution of Scyrah faction (February 17, 2015) and the Dark Seduction story expansion (December 19, 2017). Between these, the developer shipped multiple feature patches adding new warrior units, multiplayer improvements, save/load functionality, UI overhauls, and balance changes. The Dark Seduction update on December 19, 2017 is notable because it also rolled all DLC into the base game — a common signal that a game's paid content cycle has concluded. The sole DLC on the store (the Dark Seduction OST) was released the same day and is the only listed item, with no unreleased DLC remaining. There have been no developer communications of any kind since December 19, 2017 — a silence now spanning over eight years as of June 2026. The established pattern of major content releases (roughly one per year from 2015 to 2017) has not continued, and the silence far exceeds any reasonable extension of that cadence. The game appears to have reached the end of its content development with the December 2017 update.
