Evaluation
DNF Duel launched on June 27, 2022 with 16 characters and has since completed a full post-launch DLC season. A Season Pass was released on July 12, 2023, explicitly bundling five additional DLC characters: Spectre (July 12, 2023), Brawler (September 14, 2023), Battle Mage (December 18, 2023), Monk (March 14, 2024), and Nen Master (June 18, 2024). The Season Pass announcement post (NEWS-9) described Spectre as "just the beginning" and listed four more upcoming characters — all five of which have since shipped. Every item included in the Season Pass has been delivered.
All six DLC entries in the store are marked as released, and the Season Pass listing (DLC-1) shows a release date of July 12, 2023, with all included characters now live. The developer's last post was on June 18, 2024, coinciding with the release of the fifth and final Season Pass character, Nen Master. There have been no announcements of additional characters, a second season pass, or any further planned content since that date. The developer has been silent since June 18, 2024 — over two years as of today (June 25, 2026).
The pattern of DLC releases ran on roughly a 3-month cadence from July 2023 through June 2024, completing the full Season Pass slate. With all announced content delivered, no new content signaled, and no developer communication since the final DLC shipped, the game's content cycle appears to be complete as of June 18, 2024.
