DRAGON BALL FighterZ

DRAGON BALL FighterZ launched on January 26, 2018 and has sustained a long-running DLC release history spanning over eight years. The developer released paid character DLC through three named season passes — FighterZ Pass (2018), FighterZ Pass 2 (2019), and FighterZ Pass 3 (2020–2021) — and continued with additional standalone character releases beyond those passes, most recently the DAIMA Pack (Goku SS4 DAIMA) on April 21, 2026. All 30 DLC items currently listed on the store are released. The developer also published a server-side bug fix update on April 14, 2026, just days before the DAIMA Pack launched, indicating continued active engagement. In late 2023, the team conducted a public beta test for rollback netcode, showing ongoing investment in the game's infrastructure. No future DLC has been announced, and there is no active roadmap or season pass with unreleased entries. However, the developer has made no statement suggesting the DAIMA Pack is the final addition to the game, and the pattern of releasing new characters without advance notice (the DAIMA Pack itself had no prior announcement visible in the news history) means further additions remain plausible. With the most recent major content arriving as recently as April 21, 2026 — just four months before today — the game remains in an active content release window. Several news posts visible on the FighterZ Steam page (including coverage of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and Sparking! ZERO) are Bandai Namco promotional posts for other Dragon Ball titles and do not reflect FighterZ-specific development activity.
