PISTA Motorsport launched into Early Access on August 28, 2024, and REG Simulations has maintained a remarkably consistent and prolific update cadence ever since. The developer has shipped at least 7 major content updates and numerous feature patches since launch, each adding new cars, tracks, and gameplay systems. The most recent update, v0.8.3.0 on August 10, 2026, added the Autodromo de Buenos Aires circuit. Before that, v0.8.2.0 (May 14, 2026) added the San Jorge track, and v0.8.1.1 (April 2, 2026) added the Concordia Track, a new car (Fiat Competizione), and two kart tracks. Earlier in 2026, the January update introduced Championship mode and two new kart vehicles — features the store page had previously listed as "coming soon." The store description continues to advertise additional free game modes as forthcoming, including online races. The developer's Early Access notice states: "Our main priority is to have a final product ASAP," making clear that 1.0 has not been reached and that further development is planned. There is no indication from the developer that content additions are winding down — quite the opposite, with an update shipped as recently as August 10, 2026.
