Evaluation
Jurassic World Evolution 2 launched on November 9, 2021 and received a steady stream of paid DLC and free updates over the following years. Major content releases included the Dominion Biosyn Expansion (June 14, 2022), the Late Cretaceous Pack (September 15, 2022), the Dominion Malta Expansion (December 8, 2022), the Feathered Species Pack (March 30, 2023), the Prehistoric Marine Species Pack (August 10, 2023), the Cretaceous Predator Pack (November 30, 2023), the Secret Species Pack (March 13, 2024), and finally the Park Managers' Collection Pack (May 16, 2024). All 11 DLC items listed on the store are released with no unreleased entries remaining.
The Park Managers' Collection Pack (May 16, 2024) appears to mark the end of JWE2's content cycle. Following that release, developer communications shifted focus toward the next game in the series: Jurassic World Evolution 3 was announced on June 6, 2025, launched on October 21, 2025, and the JWE2 news feed has since been used primarily to promote JWE3. The one post-pack update to JWE2 — Update 1.11.2 on June 12, 2025 — added only a small set of free scenery pieces tied to the JWE3 announcement, a promotional gesture rather than a sign of continued content development for JWE2.
Frontier has made no announcements of further paid or free content additions for JWE2. The developer's stated energy is clearly directed at JWE3, which already has its own expansion (the Rebirth Expansion, referenced in a June 16, 2026 post). JWE2's content development is complete, with the Park Managers' Collection Pack on May 16, 2024 representing the final major content release.
Evidence
Park Managers' Collection Pack released on May 16, 2024 — the most recent and final DLC in the game's lineup. All 11 DLC items are now released with none remaining unreleased.
Park Managers' Collection Pack and free Update 10 launched. No mention of future content or additional DLC planned for JWE2.

About this game
Jurassic World Evolution 2 is the much-anticipated sequel to Frontier’s ground-breaking 2018 management simulation, Jurassic World Evolution, offering an all new narrative campaign voiced by cast members from across the Jurassic World film franchise, exciting new features, four engaging game modes, and an expanded roster of awe-inspiring dinosaurs.

Learn what it takes to be a park management master in Campaign mode, a compelling, original narrative that puts you at the heart of the action following the earth-shattering events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Work alongside iconic characters from the films, including Dr. Ian Malcolm (voiced by Jeff Goldblum) and Claire Dearing (voiced by Bryce Dallas Howard), and lead the efforts to control, conserve, and contain wild dinosaurs now rampaging across the USA.

Take control with deeper management tools and creative options. Construct a range of customisable new buildings and hire new Scientists, and shape your park to meet the needs of both your guests and dinosaurs. Unleash your creativity in Sandbox mode, or test your skills in Challenge mode as you deal with diverse locations and environmental calamities.

Play through key moments of your favourite films - with a twist. Experience ‘what-if’ scenarios from iconic Jurassic World and Jurassic Park films, each level set across eras and locations from all five movies. Dive into the Jurassic World franchise and see how events unfold when you take control.

Over 75 different prehistoric species come to life in Jurassic World Evolution 2, including highly requested flying and marine reptiles. These animals feel more alive than ever as they preside over territory, fight for dominance, and react intelligently to the world around them. Use bioengineering to customise dinosaurs with bold new colours, and alter their genomes to unlock traits.
